The Role:

The direct interface with the TRA committees / subcommittees ensuring presenting the company business needs and compliance with the telecom regulations.

Key Accountabilities and Activities:

Liaison with the TRA(Telecommunications Regulatory Authority).

Evaluate & study the Local, international and roaming tariffs decrees imposed by MOC which has impact on Ooredoo and any further correlated decrees and conclude the best practice for implementation.

Review , study the Products ,promotions and services, feasibility and compliance with telecom regulations and deployment guidelines and the restrictions decrees from the governmental bodies/TRA and the internal adaptation (technically and commercially ).

Conduct the pricing ,and tariffing analysis and contribute as part from the pricing committee wit TRA.

Practice the competition laws ,dominance abuse and conflict resolution legislations , decrees, policies method
Develop with the TRA body and internally the full requirement for (Licensing scope, validity, fees etc.)
FTR& MTR (fixed and mobile termination rates).

Perform a regular benchmarking studies, feasibility and evaluations related to the telecom sector.

Partial involvement with the technical regulatory issues.

Spectrum allocation , management ,QOS and interference/overspill.

Number allocation and utilization strategy.

Acquirement of the international gateway.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of Business legislation, Telecommunication regulatory environment, Telecommunication Regulatory Authority Telecommunications sector requirements

Ability to operate in a diverse multicultural, multinational work environment, exhibiting appropriate sensitivities.

Good knowledge of MS Office applications like Excel, Word etc.

Excellent command of both written and verbal Arabic and English.

Bachelor degree in Engineering /Business/ Legal or related discipline and appropriate registration with a recognised professional institute.
