Qualifications
 

Basic Qualifications:


BA/BS degree in a technical discipline (i.e., engineering, mathematics) and 5 years of experience.
Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) level II technical certification required.
IAT Level II position requires any one of the four certifications:
Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
Security+ Continuing Education (CE)
System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
Cisco Certified Network Associate-Security (CCNA-Security)
Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.
U.S. Citizen. Proof Required.
Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
Valid state Motor Vehicle Operator License
MUST be able to obtain a finding of “NO RECORD FOUND” on the FBI Background Investigation.

 

Additional Qualifications:


Completed military network technician course or civilian equivalent.
Understanding of the organization’s logistic functions and the activities involved in providing logistical support.

 

Experience with the following:

 

o WAN/LAN/BAN distribution architecture components (routers, switches,
wireless access points, cabling systems, etc.)
o Workstations and printers
o Audio and visual equipment suites (Video Teleconferencing (VTC) equipment,
projectors, etc.).
o Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment (IAVA) implementation
o Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation
o Firmware upgrades, and Operating System (OS) changes
o Windows Server 2008R2 and 2012 systems administration
o Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013
o Active Directory
o IT Backup and Restore
o Remedy

 

Preferred Qualifications:


IAT Level III certifications:


o Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
o GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
o GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED)
o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Associate
o CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner Continuing Education (CASP CE)

 

Experience with warranty repair or warranty administration
Experience and knowledge with the principles of maintenance operations and required repairs for components and sub-components.
Experience and knowledge of proper utilization of test equipment, diagnostic equipment, and special tools to cause repairs.


Additional Information:

 

Must be willing and able to travel (military airlift) and work in other countries in the region of the Middle East.
In addition to meeting Honeywell employment requirements, the United States Marine Corps has minimal standards of fitness for deployment. Your continued employment is contingent upon your being approved for deployment by the United States Marine Corps, in accordance with their policies and regulations.
Most work will be performed in extreme temperatures, employees must be willing and able to work under these conditions as determined by a required physical examination.
