  The Behbehani family has a long history in Kuwait and the GCC region. Mr. YacobYousuf Behbehani started his business in Swiss watches trading in 1938 with WEST END Watch Co and achieved global recognition by 1970 as greatest watch salesman in the world. After passing away in 2004, Mr. Aqeel Yacob Behbehani, his son, started guiding the business after his return from 30 years of diplomatic services with Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kuwait at the capacities of Ambassador & Director. Further Business was developed in real estate locally & internationally also in food & beverage sectors. By expanding international network of partners and joint ventures the business achieved great success.

Year 2010 Mr. AqeelYacob Behbehani along with his family association planned to expand the business in engineering sector carrying on a family legacy to a new level while looking upon Kuwait's changing face in infrastructure development. A highly professional and experienced team was hired to target engineering trading and contracting under the name of Behbehani Projects General Trading Co.
