The idea of establishing a center to be one of the largest centers interested in water activities in general , was chosen as the current location for the center because it has a swimming pool and an Olympic swimming pool for children in addition to the facilities includes many different activities of the center . The center has been set up to be the biggest and the largest center in the State of Kuwait boasts advanced training school diving equipment and a specialized school for literacy swimming in Kuwait. Center began work in the summer of 1996 and since then has attracted large numbers of very interested in learning scuba diving equipment and learn to swim kids and adults of both sexes . Has been adopted as a member of the center in the International Federation of CMAS diving in 1996 under the number OCC/003. A member of the National Association of diving instructors NAUI. A member of the International Federation of saving ILS through membership co- crew . Founding member of the National Commission for the Protection of the Marine Environment (R. R).
