Position Communication Engineer Section ISBC

Education & Qualifications    

•Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Information /Management /Computer Engineering, Electronics or equivalent.

Experience  

•At least 5 years’ experience Mail and Telecom administration.

•Good experience in Microsoft Office 365

Skills & Knowledge    

•Conducting studies of current communication setup.
•Searching and evaluating a best communication solution to merge all PIC locations.
•Evaluating recommended solution with vendors / suppliers, technically as well as feasibility of its implementation.
•Exploring and introducing new communication technology to PIC Communication infrastructure and select best to fit taking in consideration PIC business enhancement and easy alignment with current IT infrastructure and support.
•Facilitate communication between PIC Staff or with JV’s internally and externally.
•Resolve all communication technical issues.
•The suggested solution will be submitted for financial clearance as well as budget allocation.
•Evaluate and review plans, designs and set specifications for communication systems to make technically sound and cost effective recommendations for improvement.
•Administer a communications operations program.
•Review designs, plans and set specifications for telephone network implementation and upgrades.
•Analyze and comprehend telephone network problems.
•Recognize network alarms and take the action necessary to correct the problem.
•Present oral and written reports of findings and recommendations.
•Use communication network fault management and performance tools.
•Align and integrate all communication systems with current and future IT systems Skills:
o Experience with Unified Communications tools.
o Experience with PBX administration.
o Configuring Routing Protocols – EIGRP, RIP (v1, 2), IGRP, OSPF, BGP, OSPF, policy based routing, NAT (Static, Dynamic & Port Overloading) and DHCP.
o Knowledge of Gateway, Microsoft, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, SRST, CME, IP Phones, Unity Connection, Unity Server, Cisco Unity Express, Unified Presence Server, Knowledge of IPCC Express Scripting, ICD Route Points.
o VOIP Protocols MGCP, H.323, SIP, SCCP.
o T1/E1 PRI, SIP Trunking.
o Media Resources – Conference, Transcoder, MTP.
o CDR Reports, Dialed Number Analyzer, Collect Traces.
o Worked on CUCM 4.2.3, 7.1.3 and 8.5. Gateways, CMEs and IP Phones.
o Configuring QOS for VOIP including congestion management tools.
o Experience with Microsoft Power Shell.
•Good experience in Microsoft exchange 2010\13.
•Good experience with Microsoft skype for business 2013.
•Good knowledge in E1 and ISDN.
•Fluent in English.
•Good interpersonal skills.
•Possesses valid Kuwaiti driving license.
