Smart Teachers is recruiting for an enthusiastic KS4 Maths teacher to join a highly established International School in Kuwait. This full time position is available for a mid-August 2016 start and will be contracted for two years. The role is teaching Maths to a girls’ Year 11 class. About the Role
Teaching Maths to a girls’ Year 11 Class – Algebra 2
Mid-august 2016 start
Planning and preparing daily and long-term lesson plans according to the curriculum guidelines
Maintaining productive working habits and discipline in the classroom
Supervising students throughout the day, both in the classroom and outside during breaks
Attending staff meetings and training and development sessions
Assessing and evaluating students’ educational progress and abilities
Setting and conducting testing, delivering curriculum outcomes
Discussing students’ progress with parents and guardians, administrators and other professionals as necessary
Organising, attending and supervising school activities such as excursions, school concerts, camps and sporting events

Hold a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics
Possess valid references and police clearances
Ability to commit to a two-year contract
Experience teaching in an international setting would be an advantage
