Supervises, directs and controls  all activities of company / contractor personnel working in  mechanical maintenance division in assigned units for repair, modification and installation of all stationary mechanical equipment (including tank maintenance applicable for MAA only), in field and office environments.   Ensures that jobs are being done in-line with all HSE regulations.   Comments on design / drawings / specifications and recommends improvements in maintenance works / procedures / standards.    Supervises mechanical contract work including tank cleaning and repair contract / catalyst handling contract / hydro-blast & chemical cleaning contract / on-stream leak sealing and scaffolding contracts etc., for all stationary equipment.   Carries out non-routine assignments, as and when required.
