Al Tayer Group is delighted to announce plans to open the first Bloomingdales store in Kuwait which is part of a strategic partnership with Macys, Inc.
Bloomingdales Kuwait will fulfill the New York City stores promise of "like no other store in the world" with offerings such as leading luxury brand experiences, and seamless digital and social media integration.  This will enhance the in-store experience, deliver extraordinary personalised services with curated product selection to create an authentic welcome and delight experience for our customers.
Opening in February, the three-level apparal, beauty and accessories store, spanning over, square feet will anchor the Mall, Kuwaits luxury retail destination.
Interviewing for our exciting Bloomingdales Kuwait career opportunities will take place between March and August. Job Specification
We are currently looking for Stockroom Assistants to provide attentive assistance to Bloomingdales Kuwait, ensuring that all items are stored properly in the stock room in an easy to access manner, as well as receiving deliveries of stock to the relevant floor.
As a Stockroom Assistant, you will ensure the proper management of the stockroom, handling the receiving process, managing in checking the quality of the items and placing bar codes and security tags. You will also be assisting the Visual Merchandising team by preparing items for display onto the shop floor and merchandising the tills with Point of Sales materials.
Part of the role also will include in ensuring all housekeeping, safety, security and healthcare measures are followed.
Experience
Ideal candidates needs to have 1-2 years of experience in a similar field working in a fast paced retail environment. You need to be a team player, have the ability to work under presure, and be organized with high attention to details.
