Al Tayer Group is delighted to announce plans to open the first Bloomingdales store in Kuwait which is part of a strategic partnership with Macys, Inc.
Bloomingdales Kuwait will fulfill the New York City stores promise of "like no other store in the world" with offerings such as leading luxury brand experiences, and seamless digital and social media integration.  This will enhance the in-store experience, deliver extraordinary personalised services with curated product selection to create an authentic welcome and delight experience for our customers.
Opening in February, the three-level apparal, beauty and accessories store, spanning over, square feet will anchor the Mall, Kuwaits luxury retail destination.
Interviewing for our exciting Bloomingdales Kuwait career opportunities will take place between March and August. Job Brief
We are currently looking for a passionate Store Manager to manage and develop the prestigious Bloomingdales Kuwait.  You will be responsible for achieving budgeted levels of revenue and profit, desired brand image and customer satisfaction in line with the Company strategy and objectives.
The individual will participate in developing the stores commercial strategy, establishing monthly and annual sales objectives in line with the Retail Business Units target and implementing annual plans.
Working with your team and leading by example you will ensure customer expectations are met at all times and exceeded where possible.  Using your expert industry knowledge and keeping abreast of market and seasonal trends you will ensure your store and team maximise additional sales opportunities.  Producing excellent services standards and sales will come naturally to you.  You will also have excellent organisational skills and abilities enabling you to manage the back office operations of the store whilst spending maximum time on the shop floor.
The ideal candidate will have at least years relevant management experience with a background and experience within a leading department store. You are required to have a high level of leadership, management and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and develop a large team through having excellent organization, communication and negotation skills is a highly important requirement.
Individuals should also be a client and service oriented individual with high attention to detail and have a thorough product knowledge and strong awareness of latest trends.
