Global Game Jam 2017

Global Game Jam 2017 is an event where we spend the weekend making video games, will be held from January 19th to 21st in Sirdab Lab in Sharq, thanks to Sirdab Lab’s generosity. Developers, artists, musicians, storytellers, testers, one-man armies, you’re all welcome! Even if you’re not sure what skills you can use, you’ll discover yours in one way or another, I assure you that. And I assure you that this will be an experience you’ll obsess about for the next month or two.
The event’s schedule will be something like this:
Thursday (19th)
* 2PM to 4PM: checkins, tech talks
* 5PM to 6PM: keynotes from GGJ, theme announcement, ideas pitching, and team formattion
Friday (20th)
* 1pm: doors open for participants to attend
* 6pm to 7pm: playtest each others games
Saturday (21st)
* 9am: doors open for participants to attend
* 6pm: deadline for games submission
* 7pm: games presentations and demos (Trust me, you personally would want to see this, so much fun!)
I’d like to not that this is not a competitive event; there are no winners nor losers. This is about networking and building a community, and having fun.
