About Nawaf Gheraibah
A composer who enjoys breaking cultural boundaries through music; Nawaf Gheraibah, is a half Kuwaiti, half Indian/Portuguese musician, whose music is an expression of his rich multicultural influences. A postgraduate student at the University of Southampton, UK. Gheraibah is completing his degree in composition, and is currently employed at the Higher Institute of Musical Arts, Kuwait.
The performance will attempt to fuse a variety of tribal and ancestral instruments, poetries, and theories, with more modern day musical concepts. The music is a reflection of modern fusion music, which is birthed through the combining of cultures, customs, and languages; creating an interconnected and new age international sound.
