Sadu Design Contest Meet Up

Al Sadu Society is delighted to invite all the participants in the Sadu Inspired Design Contest to a meet up at Sadu House (Gulf Road, beside the National Library, opposite the Seif Palace) on Monday, 2 January 2017 at 11am. 

This short meeting is envisaged as a way of introducing you to Sadu House, a home to both traditional weaving and contemporary textiles. You will get a tour around Sadu House and its museum as well as Sadu House Shop. We hope this meeting will inspire you and enhance your chances of creating designs that will be showcased in an exhibition as well as win cash prize. 

The deadline for design submission is 12 January 2017 at midnight. 

We would like to point out that the meeting is not obligatory, it is merely a means of introducing you to Sadu weaving tradition.
