Taste of Q8 is like any big city Food Festival…..Taste of Chicago, Taste of Dubai, etc. We have a fabulous Celebrity Chef lineup from Food Network, BBC and local Kuwait television joining us this year including Jenny Morris, Reza Mahammad (from Food Network) Eric Lanlard (BBC), Ian Kittichai (from Bangkok) and David Cadoret (France) and local celebrities Sulaiman al Qassar, Adlah al Shirhan, and Samar Ayoubi, all of whom have current or past local tv shows. These Celebrities will be presenting throughout the three days on the Celebrity Stages and the Celebrity Cooking School. So, there will be a new show every half hour for all the attendees to enjoy. There is also a Meet & Greet opportunity for attendees to get a chance to meet the Celebrity Chefs for cookbook signing events following each of the shows.

In addition to all the Chef cooking shows, we also have a Grand Tasting, which will feature some of the local, home-based chefs doing cooking demos and sampling their signature dishes. Like last year, there will be a dj and live music, kid’s activities, and a Farmer’s Market for attendees to buy Kuwaiti artisan products. Attendees can enjoy the music while browsing the gourmet items, grazing at restaurants, and watching demos with cookware and equipment.

Attendees can eat at a wide array of restaurants from several major hotels and well known restaurants, as well as smaller, independents. So far in this year’s lineup are Radisson Blu, Marriott and Crowne Plaza restaurants as well as Pizzeria Amami, Costa Coffee, Alfredo’s Gallery, La Brasa, Junkyard Classic, Big Smoke Burgers and many more.

This is a family event, and kids are welcome to come, 12 and under come free. There will be a Kid’s Zone with fun activities, clowns, balloons, and games for them to enjoy.
