2765 Citations Issued ,55 Vehicle Impounded And Two Referred For Deportation
Hawalli Traffic Department launched intensive traffic campaigns in different parts of the governorate in the last 48 hours, which resulted in the issuance of 2,765 citations.
They also impounded 55 vehicles and referred two expatriates to deportation center for driving without license. Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry calls upon motorists to adhere to the traffic rules and regulations for their own safety and the safety of others, noting the traffic department will continue its awareness campaign to ensure traffic safety. And, fire engulfed a vehicle near a traffic light in Ardiya Industrial Area.
Securitymen, firefighters and paramedics rushed to the location after receiving information on the incident. Preliminary investigations revealed the fire was caused by an electrical fault. No injuries or casualties were reported.
