Fire Broke Out At Lumber Warehouse

Firefighters were able to bring under control a fire that broke in a lumber warehouse in Sulaibiya area, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) announced on Saturday. Squads from different fire departments were dispatched to the scene and were able to bring the fire under control before it spread out to reach nearby warehouses, containing commodities worth millions, KFSD said in a press release. Ambulances were also there to treat some firefighters who suffered from heat exhaustion. An investigation was opened into the cause of the blaze, KFSD added.
