First Deputy Prime Minister Participating In The 35th Meeting Of The Gcc Interior Ministers In Riyadh

Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah affirmed his country’s deep ties with Saudi Arabia. Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled made his remarks while meeting with Saudi Crown Prince, First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Muhammad bin Nayef, and on the sidelines of participating in the 35th meeting of the GCC interior ministers in Riyadh. He stressed the importance of bolstering Kuwaiti-Saudi security cooperation, exchanging mutual information and security expertise among all GCC countries, particularly in light of the current situation in the region.

The two sides discussed ways to boost mutual cooperation in the security field, including coordination, exchange of information, expand security cooperation prospect between the two countries, and create integration between GCC countries in order to achieve security and stability for the region’s people. The meeting was attended by Kuwait’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the Advisor at the Saudi Crown Prince’s Court Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef. Earlier, Sheikh Mohammad Khaled and the delegation accompanying him left here on Tuesday for Saudi Arabia to head Kuwait’s delegation to the 35th meeting of GCC Interior Ministers Council. A ministry statement said that Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled was seen off by a number of senior ministry officials.
