Sick Leaves Expected To Raise Upto 30000 Before Eid

The automated sick leave system at the Civil Services Commission (CSC) has already started receiving multitudes of sick and urgent leave requests filed by government employees, local daily Al Anbaa reported.

According to report, the total number of sick leaves filed until last Sunday was 14,000, indicating that the number is expected to double by today. Although all government employees are entitled to all kinds of leaves according to laws and regulations, the Ministry of Health has already been contacted to monitor the total number of sick leaves signed per doctor and refer any suspicious case to investigation; that is if any given doctors was found to have signed too many at this particular period, the sources explained.
