1,161 Medical Emergency Cases During Eid Al-fitr - Medical Emergencies Department

The medical emergencies department announced that it dealt with 1,161 cases during the Eid Al-Fitr period - 714 cases were transferred to hospitals and nearby centers, in adding to moving 15 cases by medevac, while 447 cases were treated on site. It said cases varied between road accidents, fights, burns and minor wounds.

Ambulance services supervisor Jassim Al-Foudary said statistics of the operations department at the medical emergencies department during the period between the first day of Eid and the fourth day showed 86 cases of injuries due to car accidents, including 22 cases on Wednesday, 27 o Thursday, 39 on Friday and eight on Saturday by noon.
