1,372 Traffic Violations Issued In Hawally Governorate

Officers from Hawally Traffic Department issued 1,372 traffic violations and seized 79 violating vehicles during a traffic campaign that they launched in various locations within Hawally Governorate.

The violations were issued against those who used mobile phones while driving, did not wear their seat belts while driving, drove recklessly on the roads, had expired vehicle registration books and drivers’ licenses and had parked illegally in parking spots allotted for the disabled. Public Relations and Security Media Department of Ministry of Interior urged road users to abide by the traffic rules and regulations for their safety and that of other road users, affirming that such traffic campaigns will continue in all areas of the country.
