11 Arrested For Smoking At Airport

The Environment Police during a surprise inspection campaign at the Kuwait International Airport are said to have arrested 11 people for smoking in forbidden area. The smokers were caught red-handed while smoking in ‘non-smoking area’ of the airport.

Each person was fined KD 50 in line with the Environment law. A source told the daily the law is being strictly implemented and that the law will be applied at all public utilities.
