14 Expats Deported Over Illegal Driving

The Kuwaiti authorities have deported 14 expatriates over the past week for driving without licences. The General Directorate of Traffic conducted a week-long clampdown which resulted in 47, 862 violations countrywide.

The police patrols seized 1774 cars and motorbikes in the six governorates making up Kuwait, confiscated 4 stolen vehicles and referred 24 drivers to security authorities for committing serious violations.

The police had to deal with 1558 accidents over the same period, which left 301 people injured.
