2 Arrested For Possessing 230 Alcohol Bottles

Farwaniya security operatives chased two Asian expatriates on foot and arrested them in possession of 230 bottles of alcohol. The officers were on a round of Jleeb Shuyoukh area when they came across a Japanese-made vehicle and requested the driver to pull up for checking. To their surprise, the man and his companion tried to escape on foot but the officers pursued and arrested them. They went ahead and conducted a search in the suspects’ vehicle and recovered 230 bottles of local-made alcohol ready for sale. They have since been referred with the contraband to concerned authorities.
