2 Arrested For Stealing A Car

Jahra securitymen arrested two individuals for stealing a car which they sold to an unidentified person. A citizen filed a report at Taima Police Station that his car, a Ford explorer, was stolen and he saw it parked in front of a house.

The Operations Unit in the Interior Ministry dispatched a security team to the house to investigate. When the detectives asked the owner of the house about the parked vehicle, he denied having knowledge about it. He called his father to ask about the car and the father confirmed that he bought it recently.

When the father arrived home accompanied by two persons, a Bedoun and a Saudi national, one of the two ran to a nearby house whereas the other was arrested. After getting permission from the owner of the house, police arrested the one who tried to escape. When the officers searched him, they found keys of the stolen car and some drugs. The suspects, along with the contraband, were referred to the Drug Control General Department for legal action.
