2 Expats Arrested For Running Illegal Business

Two expatriates — an Indian and a Bangladeshi — were arrested for carrying out an illegal business of overseas calls from two apartments in Khaitan and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh areas. When Farwaniya securitymen received several complaints from some residents of Khaitan and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh areas about illegal international phone-calling businesses, they launched investigations to confirm the information and obtained a warrant. They raided the two flats, confiscated the communication devices and arrested the two expatriates. The suspects were referred with the confiscated items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
