2 People Die From Seasonal Flu

Two seasonal-influenza death cases were announced by the Health Ministry on Wednesday. The deaths were mainly due to chronic diseases the two patients had before they contracted the flu, the Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary Dr. Majedah Al-Qattan told KUNA. The first death was reported yesterday, while the second one was announced today, she added.

The first case was that of a person who had a myocardial heart failure and angina pectoris while the second case was that of a 68-year old who suffered from diabetes, high blood pressure, and kidney problems.
