2 Rallyists Arrested

The Court of Appeals presided over by Judge Moha-mmad Al-Duaij sentenced two citizens Abbas Al-Sha’abi and Musaed Al-Mus-allam to two-year imprisonment with hard labor for participating in an unlicensed demonstration and attacking securitymen. The Public Prosecution accused the suspects of gathering in a public place with the intention of disturbing public security and participating in an unlicensed strike. Earlier, the Detention Renewal Judge had released the defendants on bail worth KD 500 each.
