3 Asians Arrested For Running Illegal Liquor Factory

Three Asian expatriates were arrested for running an illegal liquor factory from an apartment in Salmiya area.

According to security sources, when Hawally Security Director Major General Shihab Hamad received information about a gang involved in manufacturing liquor inside an apartment near Amman Street in Salmiya area, he formed a team for investigating the matter.

After confirming the information and taking necessary legal measures, Hawally securitymen rushed to the location and raided the apartment to find 67 barrels locally manufactured liquor and 50 cartons of liquor bottles. They arrested the three Asian suspects and referred them with the confiscated items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
