3 Expats Arrested For Forging Certificates

Investigation officers from the Residency Affairs Department arrested three expatriates for forging salary certificates and work permits submitted to banks and financial institutions to obtain loans.

Director General of the department Brigadier Saoud Al-Khedr received information that the three expatiates are involved in illegal transactions such as forging official documents at a price of KD 300 per transaction. He immediately formed a team tasked to put the suspects under surveillance.

After ascertaining the information, the team raided the place where the suspects were caught red-handed with computers, forgery tools and six fake documents in their possession. All three suspects were referred to the concerned security unit, along with the confiscated items, for the necessary legal measures.
