300 Violations Registered

Report from the Environment Public Authority (EPA) indicates 300 violations have been registered by inspection and control teams distributed across the six governorates, reports Al-Qabas daily.

It noted fines of the violations are estimated at KD 3,000,000, and the Director General of Environment Public Authority Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ahmad has said the decision to bar fishing at Kuwait Bay— as recommended by environmental specialists, is enforced equally on all, and it has contributed to improve the quantity and size of fish.
