36 Year Old Indian Arrested

Securitymen from the General Residency Affairs Department in the Interior Ministry arrested a 36-year-old Indian on Article 20 visa and his unidentified companion for trying to bribe an officer in a bid to secure the release of a compatriot detained at Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station.

In a press statement, the Public Relations and Security Media Department disclosed the Indian and his companion tried to pay the offi cer KD250 in exchange for releasing his colleague a 38-yearold compatriot who holds Article 18 visa and works for an undisclosed company. The Indian and his companion were referred to the relevant security unit for the necessary legal action.
