8 Members Arrested For Stealing 26 Tons Aluminum
Jahra securitymen arrested an eight-member gang of Asians and Arabs for stealing 26 tons of pure aluminum worth KD 19,000 from a company warehouse in Kabad area.
The Public Relations and Security Media Department of Ministry of Interior disclosed that detective officers from Jahra Security Directorate launched extensive investigations in Amghara Scrapyard and Kabad area after receiving a complaint about the theft of 26 tons of pure aluminum valued at KD 19,000 from a company warehouse.
Investigations led to the discovery of a gang consisting of five Egyptians, two Indians and an Iranian who stole the aluminum and transported them in two half-lorries. After taking necessary legal procedures, seven members of the gang were arrested with the complete stolen items. Securitymen later apprehended the Iranian storekeeper. The suspects confessed to the theft and have since been referred to the concerned authority for necessary legal action against them.
