83 Arrested In Major Security Campaign

Ahmadi securitymen led by Ahmadi Security Director Brigadier Abdullah Safa launched an extensive security campaign in Sabah Al-Ahmad area during which they arrested 83 individuals, seized 7 vehicles and issued 17 traffic citations.

According to security sources, the campaign was launched based on instructions from the Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Sulaiman Al-Fahad. About 71 individuals of different nationalities were arrested for reckless driving, ten for violating the residency law and two Egyptians who are wanted by law for their involvement in cases.

The arrested individuals were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action. The sources affirmed that securitymen will continue to hold such sudden security campaigns to arrest the violators of law.
