88 People Arrested In Security Crackdown

Ahmadi Security Directorate held a number of security campaigns in several locations within Ahmadi Governorate during which 88 violators of law were arrested, 48 traffic citations were issued and four vehicles were seized.

The General Department of Public Relations and Media Security explained that the campaigns were held in Thaher, Riqqa, Mangaf, Sabah Al- Ahmad, Jaber Al-Ali, Khairan, Mahboula and Abu Halifa areas based on directives of Ahmadi Security Director Brigadier Abdullah Safa.

The arrested individuals were involved in a number of violations such involvement in financial and criminal cases, possession of expired residence permits, beggary, etc. They were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action. The department affirmed that such security campaigns will be held in all six governorates to arrest the violators of law and ensure the security and safety of the country and its people.
