9 Kg Drugs Found At Abdali Check Point

  Customs officers retrieved packs of hashish weighing about 9kg believed to have been dumped at the Abdali checkpoint by an unknown person. The officers found the substance while conducting an inspection of the open area, and sources said the suspect may have tried in vain to smuggle the contraband and finally dumped it to avoid the clutches of law. The substance was referred to Drug Control Department for further investigation.

Three boxes of ‘ammo’ found: An unknown individual dumped three boxes of ammunition beside King Fahad Expressway towards Nuwaiseeb opposite Sabahiya area, reports Al-Rai daily. Explosive experts rushed to the location after receiving information about the boxes of ammunition and confiscated them. Investigations are ongoing to find and arrest the unknown individual who dumped those boxes of ammunition.

Chemical pollutants found:  The restoration activities at floors 80 to 83 of the Kuwait Towers revealed the presence of chemical pollutants that were recently banned globally, reports Al- Anba daily quoting a security source. They revealed that an environmental inspection officer called the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior Ministry and reported about the discovery of the chemical substance after removing the insulators. Officers from the Dangerous Materials Unit were summoned to the location to deal with the substance.
