A Citizen And Two Saudi Nationals Stole 8000 Kwd Worth Cell Phones
Police arrested a citizen and two Saudi nationals for breaking into a shop in Sharq and stealing cell phones worth KD 8,000, reports Al-Rai daily. A security source said an Iranian employee lodged a complaint with police and provided a CCTV recording. A police agent received an offer from the citizen to sell him some cell phones whose specifications turned to be similar to the ones reported stolen.
The citizen was arrested in the act while selling some stolen cell phones and guided police to his two Saudi partners. Securitymen raided the home of the two Saudis in Sulaibikhat and arrested them with some stolen cell phones in their possession. It is reported that one of the Saudis had earlier been deported and illegally re-entered the country. The three thieves were referred to the concerned authorities for legal action.
