A Doctor Sentenced To Prison
A doctor has been sentenced to six months in prison for causing the death of a Kuwaiti woman due to medical negligence.
The Criminal Court has also handed down a sixth-month-jail-term to a nurse in the case.
The kin of the deceased woman filed a lawsuit accusing the doctor and nurse of medical negligence at a government hospital. The plaintiffs appealed against the verdict, in a bid to get a tougher jail term.
