A Female Compatriot Robbed

Police are looking for an Egyptian for robbing a female compatriot of KD 1,000. According to reports the woman’s husband is awaiting deportation from the country for committing an unidentified offence and the suspect told her he knows people in ‘high places’ and can get the man out provided she is ready to pay the money. After receiving KD 1,000 he disappeared. A complaint has been filed with the Jahra Police Station.
