A Group Of Asian Workers Stage Protest Over Colleague Death

A group of Asian workers staged a protest after their company failed to provide an ambulance to rush their workmate to the hospital and save his life.

The labourers who work for a company under contract with an oil firm, gathered at kilometre 52 and blocked Al-Abdelli Avenue.

They had to themselves take their colleague to the hospital, where he died a natural death, said Arabic newspaper Alqabas.

The police dispersed the workers who committed no acts of rioting or violence. The officers summoned the official in charge of the company in order to take necessary measures against him.
