A Group Of Asians Arrested For Selling Expired Foodstuff
Officers from Ahmadi Security Command launched a campaign against vendors in Ahmadi area after Friday prayer and arrested a group of Asians for selling expired foodstuff and vegetables, as well as used clothing donated to poor people. A security source said all suspects will be referred to the deportation center for violating law and selling foodstuff unfit for human consumption. All items confiscated have since been destroyed by concerned Kuwait Municipality personnel. The source noted the campaign against beggars and hawkers will continue over an indeterminate period countrywide to rid the country of the menace.
