A Kuwaiti Citizen Attempts Suicide

A Kuwaiti citizen attempted to commit suicide while in custody of the Directorate General for Drugs Control. According to security sources, the suspect was arrested for possessing and consuming drugs. He hoodwinked the guard while he was being taken to the investigation office, smashed a glass on a desk and used a broken shard to slit his neck twice. He was controlled and referred to the nearest hospital for treatment of two deep-cut injuries he sustained. The suspect will be referred to the Public Prosecution following the improvement of his health.
