A Kuwaiti Citizen Visa Trafficker Held

Personnel from the Directorate-General for Intelligence at the Residence Affairs department of the Interior Ministry have arrested a citizen for trading in visas and bringing into the country 200 workers after manipulating the estimated needs of his company. The sources indicated the citizen owns a general trading and contracting company, affiliated to the Labor Department of the Capital Governorate and during interrogation he confessed to the authorities and in front of the Public Prosecution that he had receive KD 90,000 following the recruitment of these workers in violation of Law No. 91 for the year 2013, which was issued to combat trafficking in persons.
