A Kuwaiti Man Acquitted By A Court Of Collaborating With The Muslim Brotherhood

A 46-year-old Kuwaiti man has been acquitted by a UAE court of collaborating with the Muslim Brotherhood.The Federal Supreme Court acquitted Khalid Fahad Al Ajmi of aiming to undermine the principles of the government system and seize power.The court also heard he had been accused of giving publicity to the illegal organisation by asking members to appear on the Al Bedaya TV channelIt was further claimed that Al Ajmi had collected 250,000 riyals ($68,637) from a Qatari charity so the Brotherhood could launch a TV channel.Al Ajmi denied the allegations and argued that, in his role as a media specialist, it was his job to know people in the industry and to give advice.
