A Kuwaiti Youth Stabbed His Bedoun Friend

A 15-year-old Kuwaiti citizen stabbed his 18-year-old Bedoun friend to death during a quarrel between them inside a diwaniya in Doha area.

According to security sources, the suspect and the victim were sitting in the diwaniya with their friends when a quarrel broke out between them.

The suspect pulled out a sharp knife and stabbed the victim several times. Others in the diwaniya immediately rushed the victim to Jahra Hospital where he was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit but he succumbed to his injuries 20 minutes after he was admitted. When the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information from the hospital management about the incident, securitymen along with Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs at Ministry of Interior Major General Abdul Fattah Al-Ali rushed to the location and surrounded the hospital.

The victim’s friends provided securitymen with information about the suspect, using which they managed to arrest him. Securitymen also found the knife used for committing the murder at the location. The suspect was referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him while the corpse of the victim was referred to the Forensics Department.
