Abducted Kuwaiti Citizen Freed In Iraq Without Paying Any Ransom

A Kuwaiti citizen, who was kidnapped in Iraq, was released without paying a ransom. Khalid Sarhan was taken to the Kuwaiti Embassy in Baghdad so as to arrange his safe return home, reported local Arabic daily Al-Qabas. The abductors had asked a ransom of $1 million for his release. He was abducted on March 15 this year.
