According To Recent Statistics, Increase In The Suicide Rate Among Expatriates In Kuwait

According to recent statistics, 62 expatriates and three citizens committed suicide during the past 11 months since the starting of 20150 According to Al Qabas report, house maids are the most committing suicide, while 13 women killed themselves in the same period.

Statistics showed that 60 percent of those who committed suicide are aged between 19 to 35 years, while the means of suicide varied between jumping from high places, taking large amount of medicine, ingesting poison, cutting wrists and others.
