Actor Faisal Al-omairi Wins Best Actor Award

Actor Faisal Al-Omairi won the Best Actor Award in Arab Movies Festival at the annual International Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries held in Alexandria recently.

Expressing his joy and pride over winning the award, Al- Omairi said he got the award for his role in a Kuwaiti movie, ‘Habib al-Ard’ (Lover of the Land), which highlighted the most significant humanitarian stages in the journey of martyr poet Fayeq Abduljalil.

In addition, Al-Omairi confirmed his participation in the Jordan Theater Festival in November through the play entitled, “The Castle,” that he will do with the Kuwaiti theater team.
