Aids-hit Maid Escaped

 An unidentified Kuwaiti who hired a maid from one of the maids recruiting offices in Kuwait has called on the government to ensure domestic workers are free from contagious diseases, reports Al-Shahed daily.

This came after the maid that was hired by the Kuwaiti escaped from his house after 10 days of her employment.

The Kuwaiti said, the maid was probably aware that she is suffering from AIDS and decided to run away before the results of her medical tests were available.

The Kuwaiti has now filed a complaint with the concerned authorities. The Kuwaiti is also afraid the maid might have transmitted the disease to his family particularly since she spent 10 days working for him.

Police are looking for the maid.
