All Mars Chocolate Products In Kuwait Are Safe For Consumption

In reference to the latest announcement issued by Mars Gulf and regarding the decision to take a precautionary recall of a selection of snickers (Miniatures),

mars (Minis and Miniatures) and Best of Our Minis products produced in The Netherlands after finding a small piece of plastic in one of its products, the Committee of Food Safety in the Department of Municipal Affairs and Administration,

under the supervision of Fahad Jasim Al-Mesbahi – Assistant General Manager in the Department of Municipal Affairs and the President of Food Safety Committee, conducted a comprehensive investigation in co-operation with the distributor of Mars in Kuwait that has revealed and confirmed that no suspected products were distributed in Kuwait.
Earlier this month, chocolate giant Mars recalled these bars in 55 countries worldwide, including Holland, after the discovery of a piece of plastic in a bar produced in a company plant in Holland. Mars Netherlands recalled these bars from Dutch markets after the discovery.
