An Egyptian Arrested For Possession Of Half Kilogram Of Heroin And 6 Narcotic Pills

An Egyptian expatriate, who is wanted by the Residency Affairs Department for an absconding report against him, was arrested in Mahboula area in possession of half kilogram of heroin and 6 narcotic pills. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling Mahboula area late night when they noticed the suspect walking and stopped him for checking. When he did not produce his identification documents, they checked him to find the drugs, and a document that verified his nationality.

He was referred to the concerned authority for necessary legal procedures against him. Meanwhile, the officers also arrested two Kuwaiti citizens in a disoriented state and in possession of three cigarettes rolled with hashish and ten narcotic pills in Oyoun area. They were in a pickup van when securitymen stopped them for checking and found the drugs. They were arrested and referred to the concerned authority.
