An Egyptian Arrested For Stealing Shoes From Mosques And Selling Them At The Haramiya Market

Farwaniya security officers arrested an Egyptian for stealing shoes from mosques and selling them at the ‘Haramiya’ Market in Hassawi. The theft was discovered when an expatriate saw his shoes, which he lost while praying in a mosque in Farwaniya, among several other shoes being sold by the suspect. After having a verbal altercation with the suspect, the expatriate called the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry which immediately dispatched security officers to the location. This resulted in the arrest of the Egyptian who was referred to the concerned security department for legal measures.
